Composite Technician

Location: Stenungsund, Sweden

Frost Unmanned AB is seeking a skilled composite technician to join our team in building cutting-edge fixed-wing drones (UAVs) and unmanned boats (USVs) using advanced composite materials. If you have hands-on experience with model aircraft, fixed-wing drones, or high-performance composite structures, this is your opportunity to work at the forefront of UAV and USV technology.

About the Role

As a Composite Technician, you will be part of our onsite team in Stenungsund, Sweden, working closely with R&D and production engineers to manufacture high-performance UAVs and USVs. Unlike simpler copter-based designs, our projects involve precision aerodynamics, lightweight structures, and high-speed performance, making this a challenging and rewarding role for someone with a passion for engineering and hands-on craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

? Composite Manufacturing – Fabricate carbon fiber and fiberglass structures for UAVs and USVs.

? Assembly & Integration – Ensure high-quality construction of airframes and boat hulls.

? Process Optimization – Work with engineers to refine production techniques and enhance durability.

? Problem Solving – Identify design or material challenges and propose improvements.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Hands-on experience in composite fabrication for UAVs, model aircraft, or marine applications.

✅ Proficiency in composite layup, vacuum infusion, and mold preparation.

✅ Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

✅ Basic CAD skills for interpreting technical drawings (experience in CAD modeling is a plus).

✅ Fluency in English (spoken & written).

✅ Legally eligible to work in Sweden at the time of application.
