We are seeking a Technical Coordinator responsible for driving the implementation of a Secure Service Edge (SSE) solution. This is a project role requiring between 0.8 and 1.0 FTE from March 2025 to December 2025, with the possibility of an extension.

Background:

As part of an overarching Cyber Security Program aimed at enhancing the organization’s security posture, an SSE solution has been chosen for implementation. A contract has been signed for the SSE solution, and the initial design for the production setup is already underway.

Role Description and Objectives:

The Technical Coordinator will take charge of the end-to-end deployment of the SSE solution, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and external suppliers. The role involves managing project timelines, facilitating effective communication, and ensuring alignment between geographically dispersed teams, including those in Europe and the US. The objective is to deliver a robust and secure solution while managing risks and ensuring comprehensive knowledge transfer to the operational teams.

Key Responsibilities:

– Project Leadership: Drive the full implementation lifecycle of the SSE solution from planning to handover.

– Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, building upon an initial phase plan established by an external supplier.

– Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal IT teams (across Europe and the US), security departments, business units, and external MSPs and professional service providers to ensure all parties are aligned.

– Communication: Facilitate clear communication by producing relevant materials, conducting presentations (ranging from small team meetings to sessions with over 100 participants), and maintaining regular updates.

– Risk Management: Perform risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies throughout the project.

– Handover Process: Oversee a smooth transition of responsibilities to the MSP and the line organization, ensuring all documentation and knowledge transfer processes are completed.

Skills and Experience Required:

– A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT coordination or project management.

– Proficiency in using project management tools for planning and tracking progress.

– Strong understanding of Secure Service Edge technologies and solutions; experience with Zscaler is an advantage.

– Familiarity with the zero trust security model.

– Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to produce technical communication materials in collaboration with subject matter experts.

– Competence in delivering concise presentations via digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams.

– A solid grasp of end-user needs, IT support operations, and incident and problem management processes, including the ability to create process flows and documentation.

– A structured, detail-oriented personality capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure.

Location and Mobility:

The position is flexible with regard to location, though the preferred areas are Solna or Gävle.
