GLOBAL SOURCING DIRECTOR

OUR ROLE

Fiskars Group is the home of design driven brands like Royal Copenhagen, Wedgwood, Georg Jensen, and IITTALA. Leveraging our portfolio of iconic brands, our mission is to make the everyday extraordinary.

In support of our mission, we are hiring a Global Sourcing Director to lead and transform our sourcing strategy for Indirect, Logistics, and Manufacturing Services worldwide. This key leadership role reports to our Vice President, Global Sourcing, driving high impact decisions that strengthen supplier partnerships, optimize costs, and align sourcing with long term business priorities.

This full time, hybrid position can be based in either Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Stockholm, or Helsinki.

What You’ll Do

In this high impact role, you will define and execute a sourcing strategy that delivers both immediate cost savings and long-term competitive advantage. This role requires a deep understanding of global supply markets, high level contract negotiations, and the ability to optimize complex supplier ecosystems to support business growth. You will lead cross functional collaboration across supply chain, finance, R&D, and operations, ensuring sourcing decisions align with company-wide priorities.

Your ability to drive efficiency, mitigate risk, and integrate sustainability into sourcing practices will be key to long term success. You will build strong supplier partnerships, lead negotiations, and ensure best in class sourcing capabilities to support Fiskars Group’s evolving business needs.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

- Developing and executing a global sourcing strategy that ensures cost efficiency, supplier excellence, and supply chain resilience
- Leading high value negotiations with key global suppliers, securing contracts that align with business goals and drive sustainable cost savings
- Strengthening supplier partnerships to foster innovation, quality, and compliance with company standards
- Leveraging TCO analysis, market insights, and risk assessments to drive data-based decision making
- Partnering with senior leadership across supply chain, R&D, and operations to integrate sourcing strategies into broader business plans
- Implementing sustainability and responsible sourcing initiatives that align with Fiskars Group’s long term environmental and ethical commitments
- Managing risk across a complex global supply network, ensuring business continuity and supply chain agility
- Establishing and tracking KPIs to measure sourcing effectiveness and cost optimization

Who You Are

You are a strategic sourcing leader with a strong commercial mindset, global perspective, and deep expertise in supplier management. You thrive in complex, fast paced environments, bringing a pragmatic and solutions driven approach to sourcing challenges. Your ability to balance cost efficiency, supplier performance, and long-term strategic impact makes you an influential leader in the organization.

Beyond technical expertise, you excel in building strong supplier relationships, leading diverse teams, and partnering with senior stakeholders to align sourcing decisions with business objectives. You are equally comfortable driving broad transformation efforts as you are navigating the complexities of high value negotiations, contract structures, and risk mitigation.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA is preferred
- 10+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or supplier management, with at least 5 years focused on Indirect, Logistics, or Manufacturing Services at a global level
- A proven track record of leading high stakes supplier negotiations and delivering long term cost efficiencies without compromising quality or service
- Experience partnering with executive stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Strong leadership, influencing, and relationship building skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams across multiple regions
- Expertise in sourcing technologies, ERP systems, and data driven decision making
- A commitment to sustainable and ethical sourcing practices
- Cultural awareness and the ability to drive results in a global business environment
- Fully fluent in English, our global working language
