Head of Finance - from start up into the future

Are you our Head of Finance who’s ready to take on a hands-on attitude, drive and develop financial strategy and growth at SCALINQ? In this role, you will shape and oversee the company’s financial health, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. You’ll manage budgeting, accounting, compliance, and investments, while optimizing financial processes and capital structures. With a focus on delivering actionable insights, you’ll support the leadership team in data-driven decision-making. Join us to lead SCALINQ’s financial journey and play a key part in advancing the future of quantum technology

Required Skills:

- Proven experience (6+ years) in finance or accounting leadership roles
- Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and scenario analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems (Fortnox, Visma or similar)
- Knowledge of Swedish tax regulations, accounting rules, compliance, currency, and corporate governance
- Ability to analyze costs and pricing to improve profitability
- Data analytics skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Experience with companies handling physical products
- University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (minimum 4 years)

Preferable Skills:

- Familiarity with hardware/production companies and scale-ups
- Expertise in M&A activities, international subsidiary management, and currency risk management
- Knowledge of incentive structures
- Proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools
- Background in startups or environments requiring multitasking across diverse roles
- Initiative-taking, detail-oriented, analytical mindset, and tech-savvy
- Experience in managing financial operations for production-focused businesses, handling global customer bases, and e-commerce/distributor channels
