About the role
Net Insight’s solutions make it possible for you and millions of other viewers around the globe to take part in the largest live broadcast events. This would not have been possible without our fantastic engineering team. Together with people that are passionate about technology, you will work in an environment that spans the entire range, from hardware development to cloud applications - and everything in between.

You will have the opportunity to work with experienced developers who are experts in video, audio, and networking systems. Together with the team, you will develop innovative products that enable our customers to deliver reliable high-quality live media across the globe.

The team
As a Software Developer in the platform team, you will drive architectural solutions within platform design and work closely together with their feature development teams to understand their needs.

The platform team works with development of middleware, installation handling, monitoring, remote access, node control, and internal communication. You will be a vital part of their organization delivering innovative products and enabling their customers to deliver reliable high-quality live media across the globe.

YOUR PROFILE
Net Insight wishes to work with skilled engineers who are open to learning new things, and value working in a team to achieve a common goal. Therefore its also good if youhave great communication and organizational skills.

You are a team player with an agile mindset who has a passion for tech and modern C++ development. You enjoy taking responsibility, from the requirement phase to deployment.

Seen to the technical elements of the role, it's importantto have:

• 5+ years of experience as a developer
• Several years of experience in modern C++ (11/14/17) using the standard libraries
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of networking technologies and network protocols
• Fluent in English

• A passion for DevOps
• Experience and interest in test automation/ Unit testing
• Experience in media streaming
• TDD and CI
• Cloud technologies
