Pocketlaw is seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with backend and frontend developers, implementing DevOps automation practices, managing logs, and overseeing the infrastructure within the AWS ecosystem. Additionally, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of database administration, particularly with PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities:

- Foster close collaboration with backend and frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.

- Implement and maintain DevOps automation practices to streamline development and deployment processes.

- Manage log management systems to monitor and analyze application and system logs for troubleshooting and performance optimization.

- Utilize Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure resources in an efficient and scalable manner.

- Deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters and utilize ArgoCD for managing application deployments.

- Demonstrate expertise in managing and optimizing infrastructure within the AWS ecosystem.

- Possess a solid understanding of database administration, specifically with PostgreSQL, for effective management and maintenance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- At least 7 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.

- Strong collaboration and communication skills to effectively work with backend and frontend developers.

- Proven experience with DevOps automation tools and practices.

- Proficiency in log management and analysis.

- In-depth knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ArgoCD for container orchestration and deployment.

- Strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem and its services.

- Familiarity with database administration, particularly with PostgreSQL.

- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

- Experience with other databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB, or MongoDB.

- Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
