Job Description

• As the Senior Accountant your role will encompass overseeing all facets of financial management including accounting financial reporting budgeting and forecasting across multiple brands.
• You will be pivotal in maintaining the precision and reliability of financial data while also offering strategic financial counsel to the ownership.
• Strong leadership abilities an eye for detail and the capacity to excel in a dynamic environment are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights for strategic decisionmaking.
• Review and approve financial transactions and records.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax authorities.
• Develop and implement internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field: CPA designation preferred
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles ( GAAP )
• Experienced in utilizing ERP systems ( COMPEAT RESTAURANT365 QUICKBOOKS) for recording and posting journal entries reconciling general ledger accounts preparing financial and account analysis
• Strong ability to implement and maintain internal controls accounting policies and procedures.
• Ability to work under time constraints as required while key transactions are being executed
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Team oriented and able to work independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
• Result driven ensuring timeliness and accuracy of deliverables
• Problem solver and demonstrates excellent work ethics
