The role In this role, you will support the engineers at Electromobility during the product development of electronics, batteries, and power distribution units. As Cleanliness Specialist you will be the main responsible for the cleanliness requirements for our systems and breakdown to components, together with our component owners. You will be working closely with the engineers, our productions sites and after-market to balance the cleanliness requirements versus other requirements. Contributions in audits in Volvo facilities and supplier sites will also be a part of the role. Volvo has a cleanliness network that addresses standards, method development etc., where you will be the representative from Electromobility. Who are you? It is important that you are flexible and enjoy working in a changing environment with a lot of collaboration with people in different teams while discussing and developing design as well as testing. To succeed in this role, you need Master or Bachelor of science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar combined with minimum five years of relevant working experience, in areas such as those listed below.
- Electric system/wiring design
- Battery design best practices
- Production of electronics, battery components or similar
- Experience in battery systems
- Experience from the automotive industry, especially electrified vehicles.
- Experience in DFMEA, 8D, FTA and system diagnosis
- Experience in system testing
- Experience in automotive requirement management
