We seek a UI designer with industrial application experience to join a global company in Gothenburg.

Start ASAP with a six-month contract, with the possibility of an extension after that.

As a department, they are just beginning an exciting journey, building the next generation’s eco-system for condition monitoring. Building complex products is not straightforward. It creates a challenging, fun and rewarding working environment, and you must be comfortable coping with some level of uncertainty. Since we build solutions for cloud and on-premise environments, working for this Client will allow you to engage with the latest technologies and tools the industry offers

Role Description:

We seek a talented UI designer who understands industrial applications and frontend frameworks to collaborate on an exciting project developing our next generation of Condition Monitoring Solutions. The end goal of the Client solutions is to provide actionable insights based on machine data to make industrial machines run longer. The Clientare at the centre of turning the their strategy of intelligent and clean growth into reality. The project involves developing a visually appealing web application interface that offers an exceptional user experience and allows their users to detect machinery issues confidently and quickly

Your responsibilities and day-to-day tasks:

  • Designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for the customercondition monitoring application, considering technical constraints and frontend frameworks.
  • Researching to understand needs, behaviours, and industry standards relevant to the project.
  • Creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
  • Iterating designs based on feedback from stakeholders, usability testing, and technical evaluations.
  • Providing design assets and specifications to front-end developers for implementation.
  • Offering expertise to guide design decisions and address technical challenges.
  • Collaborate closely with the Client teams to comprehend project requirements and objectives.

We expect you to have/be:

  • Proven experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the industrial sector, with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
  • Understanding of frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Svelte) and the ability to effectively communicate with frontend developers.
  • Familiarity with technical limitations and considerations when designing UI for web-based applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

This role requires fluency in English and Swedish.
