Summary:

Join our team as a Linux Embedded Software Developer Bring your expertise in Linux build systems, Yocto, Docker, Python, Cmake, and makefiles to drive the transition of systems to Linux environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute into existing CI systems, adapt them for Linux, and explore advanced concepts like device drivers and kernel tuning.

Your Profile:  

We're seeking a highly proficient individual with expertise in Linux build and making systems. Essential qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in Linux build systems, including experience with Linux distributions using Yocto.
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Python for development and deployment.
  • Familiarity with Cmake, makefiles, toolchains, and compilers.
  • Bonus points for familiarity with Linux package managers (.deb, .rpm), Linux ecosystem, and CI systems.

What You Will Do:

As a Linux Embedded Software Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Immersing yourself in existing CI systems and build systems, particularly focusing on transitioning systems from QNX to Linux.
  • Conducting thorough investigations and analyses of current solutions.
  • Utilizing expertise in Linux build systems and tools to optimize and adapt existing systems for Linux environments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software solutions.
  • Exploring device drivers, eBPF, kernel internals, and Linux Kernel tuning to enhance system performance.
