Job Summary: These positions are expected to provide (expertlevel) business process guidance on SAP FM requirements and design.

Job Description:

This position requires experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP FM to automate the management and external reporting of general ledger accounts receivable accounts payable and cash management; manage posting periods and period end closing; and enable open and integrated data flow between financial account and the other components of the SAP system. Possesses Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more functional/module area. Knowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP preferred. Requires strong organization and communication skills. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting shortterm project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering analysis design development documentation test (unit functional integration regression stress and user acceptance) implementation and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP FM module (in a Tier 3 environment) is preferred.

MUST HAVES:

  • This position requires indepth knowledge of one or more functional area as well as relevant SAP module(s) specifically in the area of Funds Management (FM).
  • Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as a program or project manager leading and supervising a multidisciplinary staff of various levels.
  • Demonstrated analytic ability to evaluate programmatic data resolve inconsistencies and propose solutions to project issues.
  • Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures .
  • Bachelors Degree in a recognized technical engineering scientific managerial business or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelors Degree.

Preferred Skills:

5 years SAP FM experience Experience in post golive production support and break/fix Focus on customer service and responsiveness with sound customer handling skills

Job Requirements:

  • Provide FM expertise to confirm/develop business requirements definition;
  • Provide configuration data migration interface and functional support as necessary;
  • Develop and maintain systems documentation including business process procedures functional design specifications process flows and test cases;
  • Support development of training work products and respond to trainer questions;
  • Define user authorization requirements;
  • Provide help desk support assisting and resolving end user support problems resolving FM defects (break/fix) analyzing proposed improvements or changes to the Navy ERP FM solution and system;
  • Prepare/conduct briefings demos or training sessions as needed.
