The internship opportunity is on-site in Solna, Stockholm. The start date is as soon as possible, extending until December 2024.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be a part of the Computational Biology team, and your scope will include cross-functional work within the company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Apply image processing techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex biological images.
  • Apply advanced algorithms for image segmentation, feature extraction, and pattern recognition.
  • Use machine learning to develop models for predictive analytics and classification of biological data.
  • Collaborate with other members of your team to integrate machine-learning approaches into analysis pipelines.
  • Utilize your understanding of biological processes to interpret and contextualize data outcomes.

The exact nature of the project will be tailored depending on your background and ongoing projects.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

To be qualified for the internship, you must have a bachelor’s, master’s degree, or possibly a Ph.D. in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field. Applicants with a biological sciences background and bioinformatics experience are welcome to apply. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
