DRIVING VALUE THROUGH ECONOMIC EXPERTISE

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity in Economics? We are seeking talented individuals to join our motivated and collaborative team, dedicated to delivering high-quality work and teaming effectively to achieve common goals. If you are eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges, we invite you to explore our job opportunities and join us in shaping the future of our company.

We are specifically looking for a talented economist with excellent economic skills to join our IP Valuation and Transfer Pricing team in Stockholm in the beginning of 2025. If you have an interest in consulting and will soon complete a Master’s degree in Economics or Finance, we encourage you to apply.

WORKING WITH US

In our IP Valuation and Transfer Pricing service, we support our clients by developing economic models to determine the value of brands and patents, and we design and defend transfer pricing systems for multinational groups. You can see examples of our publications here and read more about our different services here.

As part of our work, we provide economic expert opinions in court proceedings, provide clients with well-founded analyses for strategic decisions and develop robust transfer pricing systems compliant with the relevant legislation.

While our IP Valuation & Transfer Pricing team is fully based in Stockholm, it is highly international, with members from around the world, including the Nordics, other European countries, Asia and Australia. Similarly, our clients are located around the world, from the USA to Africa and Europe. We work closely together as a team and believe that social activities are an important part of getting to know each other, allowing us to work together better on projects.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will work on a broad range of tasks within projects, including data collection, theoretical analysis, quantitative analysis, drafting reports, and communicating results to clients. Teamwork is a fundamental part of how we work, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with and learn from experienced colleagues to develop your economic toolbox and consulting skills. Furthermore, an important part of our work culture is to ensure that our employees have opportunities to grow and take responsibility to develop their skills as economists and consultants.

You will assume important responsibilities from the outset and can gain personal and professional experience. Our work environment is international, trustful, and fast-paced.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are seeking applicants for entry-level positions who are completing or have recently completed a master’s degree in economics, finance, or a related field.

  • We welcome applicants with a master’s degree in economics and/or finance, and an interest in valuation and transfer pricing issues.
  • We value effective communicators who are passionate about producing high-quality analysis and conveying it clearly in English, both in writing and verbally.

Proficiency in other languages, particularly Spanish, German, Swedish, French, or Italian, is an advantage but not a requirement.

We appreciate individuals who are focused, pragmatic, and able to balance attention to detail with the need to provide valuable analyses and advice within deadlines and budgets.

We are seeking curious individuals who are eager to learn about a variety of industries and open to working on diverse types of projects.

We value problem-solvers who enjoy helping both clients and colleagues, and who take initiative, ownership, and responsibility for their work.

Study or work experience outside Sweden, such as a semester abroad, is an advantage.

If you have more than two years of relevant work experience or a PhD, we encourage you to submit an unsolicited application.

HOW TO APPLY

Please submit your application, including your CV, motivational letter, and academic transcripts no later than 5 May 2024.

In your motivational letter, please elaborate on why you would like to work with us and why you believe you would be a good fit for the role and our team (max 500 words).

As a company we are committed to responding to all applicants, no matter the result, and successful candidates will be informed and called for an interview on an ongoing basis. If you have any questions, you are welcome to contact Economist Nora Aobadia Sandström at nas@copenhageneconomics.com .

We look forward to receiving your application
