Key Responsibilities:
  • Your scope and focus is on the strategically important Enterprise Information Services Platform for the European Division (North Star programme) with the responsibility to guide and advice our business and IT teams into making the best possible technology investments and decisions based on our business strategy and agreed goals
  • As an Enterprise Architect, in this senior role - you are part of the Group Enterprise Architecture function with the mission to turn business strategy into reality by providing:
    • A clear SSE target architecture based on Business needs and priorities.
    • A roadmap for the future to reach the target
    • Sequencing options of the transformation roadmap
    • Decision-making, consultative guidance and support
    • Budget and assignment management of the NorthStar Architecture Team
  • Leading and line managing of the Architecture team (including budgeting) within the Securitas Leadership framework: “Driving Performance”, “Making Strategy Happen” and “Developing Yourself & Others”
  • Manage, control and coordinate design of North Star target state architecture across North Star projects and in alignment with other divisional and global initiatives
  • Ensure the key architecture design decisions support the North star business objectives and align with Securitas Enterprise Architecture guardrails and principles
  • Drive and coordinate design and maintenance the of future SSE data model across North Star projects
  • Drive development of country specific target state, transitional architectures and decommissioning plans.
  • Support development, maintenance, and execution of North Star Transformation Roadmap and country specific plans
  • Act as a design authority to provide architectural steering and decision to the workstreams and rollout projects
  • Support & Actively shape and establish enterprise architecture skills and ways of working across the NorthStar Architecture Team
  • Work very closely with Programme Management & Service Delivery Manager and the rest of the platform team, projects, architects and external partners.
  • Execute Country Roll out assessments to build up as-is and gaps the to-be target.
  • Identify major dependencies within the scope of the Platform plus in Country rollouts
  • Chair Country Assessment Forums. Form part of the Programme Design Authority.
  • Abstract the complex integration landscape in a previously fragmented decentralized to identify critical path architecture choices and provide recommendations

  • Improve top and bottom-line results
  • Improved business mix
  • Efficiency and quality in the execution of our main processes freeing up time for value add activities with our clients.
  • Continue to enhance our capability framework (aka. Business Platforms)

 

Key Partnerships:

North Star program actors:

  • North Star Program management team – alignment on roadmap and priorities
  • IT Product Managers – escalate priority conflicts when necessary
  • Integration lead and integration architect - alignment on integrations development, dependencies and maintenance aligned to the SAD
  • Solution Design Architects – align on the enterprise architecture system and solution architecture description
  • Business Architect – aligning on processes from a business standpoint to ensure a proper and lean user experience.
  • Local /Country architects – communication on local systems and specificities

Other actors:

  • Global architecture team – align on way of working and common procedures
  • SSE IT leadership team – aligning on priorities and inform

Key Competences and Personal Skills:
  • Broad Business knowledge and experience within business-outcome focused IT
  • Excellent knowledge in Back-office systems and understand the importance of business and information architecture from an E2E business perspective
  • Security or Service Business experience
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management
  • Business process mapping and data modeling
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skill in a multi-cultural, geographically dispersed multi-organization team
  • Highly structured and able to decide where and when to delegate.
  • Ability to foster psychological safety in a critical programme.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in English

 

Level of experience:
  • 15+ years work experience of IT in general

  • 10+ years of IT for ERP, Finance, Product Management, HCM and WorkForceManagement
  • Enterprise Architecture framework like TOGAF - Lean IX knowledge (+)
  • Experience of dealing with large, multi-year, multi-county, multi-application programme affecting critical business processes.
