In Sweden, we provide a shared service capability covering Finance, Payroll, HCM and IT services.We are currently looking for a Workday HRIS Specialist for our applications within the area of Finance and Accounting.

Our business process stakeholders demand robust system and process design, reliable service and a flexible/agile approach to changing needs. The system landscape consists of 100+ integrations exchanging business information both internally but also from applications managed by local business units and partners in the Nordics.

Role description

  • Configurating re-occurring HR processes such as merit, yearly performance review and check-ins.
  • Provide Workday problem resolution support for existing processes and functionality. This includes periodic reviews of root causes and preventative actions.
  • Work with clients on system usage and feedback on future development ideas. For those ideas taken forward, lead analysis and configuration of requirements.
  • Release management - prepare and execute regression testing, as well as overall coordination.
  • Work with clients on training needs analysis, business case development and ad-hoc agendas.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to make incremental enhancements and improvements to Workday while ensuring application are being maintained/developed accordingly.
  • Support larger programs of work relating to new system functionality and integration (e.g. with Finance and Payroll teams). This could cover seeking end-client input, scoping of new requirements, understanding new system functionality and how that relates to the client environment, developing testing use-cases, and planning/managing project implementations.
  • Understand best practice approaches we employ with our various clients and bring this to the set of stakeholders you serve. Support initiatives around automation and efficiency improvements within the HR-area.
  • Together with process owners, secure process and application compliance with GDPR and other law/regulations.

Key role requirements

  • Good knowledge in Workday and previous experience either in HR, HR support or general systems support/integration where administrating Workday from a 3:rd line perspective.
  • Knowledge and best practises in the following Workday modules:
    • Core HCM
    • Time tracking
    • Travel & expense
    • Talent & perfomance
    • Advanced compensation .
  • Knowledgeable, analytical, with good client-interaction skills. Whatever the issue is, you’ll find a way to handle it, and if not then you figure out who can.
  • Analytical and have an inquisitive mind.
  • Previous experience from Medvind and/or HR-plus this will be beneficial as you will collaborate with the HR application team.
  • Can evidence good business analysis skills and a mind-set of continuous improvement.
  • Swedish is required, English is a plus.
