Huvudsyftet med rollen är att tillsammans med gruppledaren leda och utveckla Ingenjörer utan gränser Uppsala. Alla gruppledarpar lägger upp samarbetet lite olika. Men vice-gruppledarens givna arbetsområden är att leda och anteckna under de interna veckomötena i ledningsgruppen. I början av året ordnar vice-gruppledare, med stöd av gruppledaren, kick-offs för både ledningsgruppen och volontärerna. Under året ansvarar vice-gruppledaren för att planera roliga aktiviteter för ledningsgruppen och volontärerna. Vice-gruppledare har också huvudansvar för EWB Uppsalas två rekryteringar. Det innefattar planering och samordning av rekryteringen med understöd av resten av ledningsgruppen.

Det kommer också att hållas månadsmöten där du och din gruppledare får möjlighet att träffa alla andra gruppledare och diskutera punkter/frågor ni kan behöva hjälp med. Under månadsmötena får du också möjlighet att få nya idéer från de andra lokala gruppernas aktiviteter.

Utöver de angivna ansvarsområdena är rollen som vicegruppledare en mycket flexibel roll. Har du idéer på saker du vill göra finns möjligheten

Vad förväntar vi oss av dig?

Tjänsten som vice gruppledare kräver inga förkunskaper, men det skulle vara meriterande om du har/är:

– Student vid Uppsala universitet

– Förmåga att arbeta nära andra med god samarbetsförmåga.

– Ett starkt driv och ett strukturerat arbetssätt.

– Innovativa lösningar och ett kreativt tänk.

– Ett ansvar för att säkerställa framsteg i projekten eller uppgifterna.

Tid på volontärarbete?

Arbetet är helt frivilligt och mängden arbete kommer att variera beroende på ditt engagemang. Normalt är dock 2-4 timmar per vecka att räkna med.

The main purpose of the role is to lead and develop Engineers without Borders Uppsala together with the group leader. All group leader pairs set up the collaboration a little differently. But the Vice group leader's given work areas are to lead and take notes during the internal weekly meetings of the management group. At the beginning of the year, the Vice group leader, with the support of the group leader, arranges kick-offs for both the management group and the volunteers. During the year, the Vice group leader is responsible for planning fun activities for the management group and the volunteers. Vice group leader also has primary responsibility for EWB Uppsala's two recruitments. It includes planning and coordinating the recruitment with the support of the rest of the management team.

There will also be monthly meetings where you and your group leader will have the opportunity to meet all other group leaders and discuss points/questions you may need help with. During the monthly meetings, you also get the opportunity to get new ideas from the other local groups' activities.

What do we expect from you?

The position as Vice group leader requires no prior knowledge, but it would be advantageous if you have/are:

- Student at Uppsala University

- Ability to work closely with others with good cooperation skills.

- A strong drive and a structured way of working.

- Innovative solutions and a creative way of thinking.

- A responsibility to ensure progress in the projects or tasks.

Time for volunteer work?

The work is completely voluntary, and the amount of work will vary depending on your commitment. Normally, however, 2-4 hours per week are to be reckoned with.
