Senior Business Controller

About the role

In this role, you'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining relevant Group and Operational reporting packages. You'll support the business in achieving commercial &operational excellence by implementing KPI reporting and conducting relevant commercial analysis for each sales channel, including benchmarking.

You'll also provide support to stakeholders through Financial Analysis and Decision Support documentation, which includes delivering standard financial reporting packages and facilitating ad hoc investigations upon request.

Furthermore, you'll assist stakeholders in monitoring SLAs, financial milestones, and critical interfaces in pre-market processes such as range plan development, managing Supply Chain SLAs with third parties, and ensuring compliance with Finance process SLAs.

Responsibilities

Management reporting:
- Execution : Maintain and execute, at any time, relevant Group and Operational reporting package.

- Quality : Participate/lead business reviews, Q&A and other measures deemed necessary from time to time to ensure Financial reporting reflect underlying commercial operation.

- Analysis : Draft narratives and risk analysis based on in depth insights and analysis of the commercial performance, customized for each sales channel

- Business projections : Participation and support in Forecast, Budget and PMT processes

Business Intelligence :

Business case simulation : Preparation (market and channel expansion) and consolidation/review (Corporate, Sub’s & JV’s) of investment proposals to investment committee.

Reporting : Develop and create new reporting to support business and deliver valuablecommercial insights.

KPI : Evaluate current measurement and develop new KPIs to support business and customize it for each sales channel.

Commercial analysis : Execute/maintain Operational KPI reporting including Benchmarking (Internal & External).

Onboarding New Markets : Support qualitative onboarding of New Markets

Training/Education : Support to management and corporate functions, preparing decision support documentation and enlighten/educate business owners of correlation between decision/action and financial impact - both ad hoc and recurring analysis

Your skills

• Knowledge requirements - Accounting, Project management, Stakeholder management, Business acumen, Business & commercial analysis
• Educational level - University degree or equivalent
• Past experience - 5+ years preferably in international environment, proven track record in change project, responsible for recurring reporting including analysis to senior stakeholders, relevant retail and operational experience. Experience from commercial roles outside finance meriting
• Language skills - English, additional languages meriting
• Personal characteristics - Curious, Creative, Structured, Passionate, Business oriented, Analytical, Customer focused, Proactive, Change agent, Doer, Tenacious, Pedagogical
