About the job

As a Scrum Master at inriver, you will report to our Global Director Software Development who is based in Malmö, and you will be part of the Product Development team working with developing our Product Information Management (PIM) product.

In your role as a Scrum Master, you will be facilitating the scrum process for development teams. You will work closely with the Technical Lead Developers, Product Managers, Product Development management and all the members of the teams (developers and test engineers), who are based in Malmö, US and the Philippines. Communication is key, within the team, as well as between teams and other stakeholders.

We are constantly improving our microservice architecture, therefore we see you as an experienced Scrum Master, with a pragmatic approach and effective stakeholder management.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including for instance planning, daily standups, retrospectives.
  • Coach the different teams on agile principles and practices.
  • Facilitate communication, collaboration, and transparency within the team and with stakeholders, setting up clear expectations and deadlines.
  • Act as a protective shield for the teams, remove impediments to enable them to focus on delivering value during the sprint.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team, as well on the cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar degree.
  • Proven experience (+ 5 yrs.) as a Scrum Master in an agile environment.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent certification.
  • Familiarity with other Agile frameworks and DevOps mindset is a plus.
  • A pragmatic approach. Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
