Junior Information Security Specialist

Join our Security & Governanceteam as aJunior Information Security Specialist and play a crucial role in safeguarding our information and business by ensuring the confidentiality integrity and availability of sensitive information.
You contribute to the overall security posture and our business by improving and implementing best practices identifying vulnerabilities and supporting our risk management efforts.
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Information Security Specialist you will be instrumental in fortifying our security measures and bolstering our resilience against threats and attacks.Your duties will include:
- Improving the Information Security Management System by for example developing procedures and tools in collaboration with the security organization.
- Supporting the organization in classifying information and related assets
- Conducting risk assessments on systems processes and third parties.
- Monitoring and following up on control effectiveness and mitigating measures
- Following up and improving the incident management process.
- Supporting the organizations efforts within security risk compliance and governance.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Basic understanding of information security principles risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in IT concepts networks and system architecture.
- Ability to create clear and concise security documentation including instructions guidelines and incident reports.
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to see the bigger picture and to understand the business needs.
- A solid understanding of IT concepts networks and system architecture.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively with teams and individuals from all over the organization.
