We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join our team at Amaris Consulting. This role is designed for candidates with 7 to 10 years of experience in the field of Electrical Engineering, specifically within Industrial Automation. The position is based in Sweden and will be on an Undetermined Duration Contract basis.

You will be responsible for reviewing and inspecting electrical systems in new and existing equipment through independent work and collaboration within teams as well as suppliers.

Your main task will involve ensuring a highly automated production process for both process control and material handling.

The job includes participation throughout the entire lifecycle of electrical design projects, primarily focusing on Low Voltage machines and equipment.

In conjunction with the equipment supplier, you'll take charge of selecting electrical device manufacturers, conducting design reviews, revising documentation, performing factory acceptance tests (FAT), supervising installations, commissioning, and executing site acceptance tests (SAT).

About You

The ideal candidate holds either a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. You have extensive experience designing and reviewing electrical systems including control cabinets safety circuits. Your background also includes hands-on experience from work with production equipment along with proficiency using E-Plan software for technical documentation purposes.

Demonstrated knowledge about rules & directives such as CE MD LVD EMC EN 60204-1 is required

Familiarity with machine safety standards like EN ISO 13849-1/-2 EN 61800-5-2 is essential

Experience utilizing Power analysers along with various other electrical tests & measurements tools such as insulation, THD, RCD is necessary

Excellent English written and oral skills are a must-have for this role

Prior experience working in a multi-cultural environment is crucial

Bonus points will be awarded for candidates with experience in the manufacturing industry or fluency in other languages such as Japanese, Swedish, Chinese or Korean.

Additional consideration will be given to those who have worked with servo drives and motion technology.
