Senior Specialist – Modem Algorithm Design Posted Thursday, 30 November 2017

This is an opportunity for a specialist in Modem Algorithm Design to join the Research and Development team of our client, a large telecommunications company, in Sweden. You will be responsible for development of physical layer algorithms related to 5G. 10 years’ experience in wireless baseband algorithm development, and a PhD in Wireless Communications is required. This is a 12-month contract and our client will pay extremely competitive rates.

Responsibilities:

  • Physical layer algorithms development related to 5G
  • Implementation of new LTE-A features
  • Troubleshooting
  • Perform extensive computer simulations

Requirements:

  • PhD in Wireless Communication or relevant subject
  • 10 years’ experience in wireless baseband algorithm development
  • Background in wireless communications and signal processing
  • Knowledge and understanding of PHY and MAC layers
  • Familiar with LTE and its evolutions
  • Matlab
  • C++
  • Familiar with scripting
