Role:

We are currently seeking a skilled Validation Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. As a Validation Engineer you will be responsible for postsilicon validation and debugging. Your role will involve working with JTAG based debuggers as well as utilizing your proficiency in Python and C programming languages. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing postsilicon validation tests on hardware designs
  • Developing test plans and strategies to ensure system functionality
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to identify and resolve any potential design issues
  • Debugging using JTAG based debuggers
  • Writing test scripts in Python and C

Candidate

  • Bachelors or master s degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering computer science or related engineering fields
  • 58 years and above experience in postsilicon validation
  • Handson experience with bringup and validation of the following:
  • Lowspeed SoC peripherals including I2C I3C SPI UART GPIOs voltage regulators EEPROMs flash devices etc.
  • Handson with JTAGbased debuggers like Keil Lauterbach OpenOCD etc.
  • Experience with programming in C/C Python writing validation test plans and test cases for various SoC peripherals and lowlevel embedded firmware development
  • Fair knowledge of CPU architecture and capability to understand datasheets
  • Handson experience with validation lab with test benches power test equipment Oscilloscopes and Logic Analyzers
  • Handson experience with board bringup hardware and software debugging experience
  • Bench automation PVT and volume characterization to improve product quality
  • Ability to work independently with software hardware and product management teams
  • Excellent problemsolving and debugging skills and good English communication skills both verbal and writing
