Welcome to join an experienced and growing team of Data scientists and Consultants who work to drive increased marketing effectiveness for some of Sweden's and the world's largest brands.

As part of the leading media agency group GroupM, we at Acceleration work to transform large amounts of data into solutions to complex problems in media and marketing. The projects include a broad mix of econometrics, media buying algorithms, dashboards and strategy projects/consulting services.

Acceleration drives GroupM and the rest of the industry forward through technology and data innovation and works closely with the largest advertisers, publishers and technology companies in the industry. This is a position with a plethora of opportunities for growth both professionally and personally.

 About the position

The position includes working in a team with experienced colleagues:

• Be a driven data scientist for projects in econometrics, attribution, experiments, algorithms and other data science-related projects

• Together with the rest of the project team, analyze, package and present to our customers

• Participate in and drive development projects within automated reporting, algorithms and other data science commitments

Professional and personal qualifications

We are a team with entrepreneurial drive.Professionally, we believe that you are a recent graduate or have worked for a number of years in data science or analysis with the following skills:

• Education with a solid foundation in mathematics and statistics (e.g. MSc in mathematics, industrial economics, alternatively economist or statistician)

• Experience with PowerPoint

• Experience in project management

• Ability to present and communicate your results in a convincing manner

• Knowledge of different Excel, R, PowerBI is an advantage (but not a requirement)

• Knowledge of applications within Cloud environments is an advantage (but not a requirement)

• Knowledge of the ecosystem for digital media and environments within, for example, Google Marketing Platform, Facebook and Xandr is an advantage (but not a requirement)

On a personal level, we believe you are interested in:

• Present and communicate your results to relevant stakeholders

• Drive dialogues and deliver projects in both Swedish and English

• Work thoroughly, detail-oriented and independently (proactive and entrepreneurial)

• Be a "team player" with a willingness to work both individually and in a team
