Description

Join us as a PHP Developer and leverage your extensive experience in Laravel to drive excellence in web development and deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Building new products from scratch
  2. Designing and coding the architecture of our core systems
  3. Developing code that is a joy to work with
  4. Work on high-scalable products with PHP7 hosted on a cloud-based infrastructure
  5. Build and provide internal & external RESTful APIs
  6. Maintain and expand the test coverage
  7. Constantly challenge and expand your knowledge of reliable software architecture, programming, and new technologies
  8. Work with agile processes that are adapted to the team's and project's needs
  9. Exchange your knowledge with other developers and be part of our team

  • Containerization: Docker
  • DB: MySQL
  • Cache: Redis
  • Staging environment: AWS

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 3 years coding skills in PHP
  2. Strong knowledge of PHP 8+ and frameworks like Laravel/Symfony/Yii
  3. Full-stack awareness from front-end to database design and development
  4. Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc.), SQL, and database/schema design
  5. Good understanding of design patterns
  6. Ability to consume and create APIs and web services using REST
  7. Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base and test suite in check
  8. Understanding and/or experience in Test Driven Development (TDD)
  9. Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  10. Experience in integration of distributed systems
  11. Experience in a Continuous Delivery environment
  12. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  13. Highly motivated self-starter with strong attention to detail and proven ability to prioritize and scope work
  14. Excellent logic, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  16. Upper-Intermediate level of English
  17. Extra points for experience with AWS products
  18. Extra points for expertise in microservice architectural patterns and design, container technologies & event queue technologies
