About the role:

Credit underwriting is within the absolute core for a bank operating within unsecured credits. Working and coordinating with stakeholders from multiple departments is essential, and internally we simply refer to this role as having the day-to-day responsibility for "running the bank".

Main tasks:
  • Significant responsibility as being risk manager for a portfolio.
  • Continuously analyze your portfolio to identify underwriting opportunities that drive smarter decisions.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve underwriting strategies in cooperation with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and enhance risk reporting using analytical tools.
  • Support strategic growth initiatives by conducting deep-dive analyses across products and markets.
  • Contribute to model validation processes and ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Identify untapped data opportunities and turn them into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate on other tasks within Credit Underwriting & Decision Analytics to support our continuous improvement journey.
We are looking for you who:
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years' experience working within credit risk (preferably within the Nordic countries or Germany)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with SQL programming
  • Fluency in English (Scandinavian language skills is a plus)
  • Proficiency in a modeling language such as Python or R
  • A degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Statistics, Data Science or similar)
  • Have the right to work in either Sweden or Norway (citizenship or valid work permit)
Its positive if you:
  • Experience with IFRS9 modelling (PD, LGD, EAD)
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
