About the role

Model Risk is a part of CRO function and is responsible for SEB's Model Risk management framework, oversight and management reporting. Model Risk is an international function, and the Model Risk Officer is a central role within the Model Risk function.

With an increased reliance on models and introduction of new modelling techniques (including AI) the importance of Model Risk will continue to grow as a strategic function for the bank, and you as a Model Risk Officer will have the opportunity to be part of and shaping this journey.

As a Model Risk Officer, you will:
  1. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure model risk framework requirements are fulfilled.
  2. Be part of ensuring the model risk reporting to management.
  3. Lead, drive and coordinate various initiatives.
  4. Together with the team strengthen our internal model risk frameworks, not least when it comes to AI & 3rd party models.
  5. Be involved in setting the strategic direction of the function.
