Micropower is an international company headquartered in Växjö, Sweden. With strong in‑house expertise, we develop and produce efficient, intelligent lithium‑ion batteries, charging systems and power converters across Sweden, the USA, Germany, Finland, and Italy.
What you'll do
In this role you will design and develop electronic hardware for new and existing products, ensuring robust, reliable and cost‑efficient solutions. You will work with schematic design, PCB layout, component selection and validation, as well as testing and troubleshooting hardware‑related issues.
You will be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle – from development and release to maintenance and continuous improvement – working cross‑functionally with colleagues from software, mechanics and product management in agile teams.
You will participate in design reviews, contribute to technical decisions and collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers and manufacturing partners. You will also ensure that designs are well documented and meet quality, performance and EMC requirements.

Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or an equivalent university degree.
- 2-5 years of documented experience in electronics development.
- Documented experience in analog and digital electronics design, including schematics and PCB layout.
- Experience working with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad or similar).
- Experience in testing, validation and troubleshooting of hardware.
- Professional level of English and Swedish.
Additional experience we value
- Good understanding of EMC/EMI considerations.
- Experience working in cross‑functional development teams.

Employment details
Location: Växjö, Sweden – permanent on‑site. A valid Swedish work permit is required. This is a permanent employment position.
