As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy, we’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Pharma sector.

We have outlined our expectations for the role and what core skills and experiences are required as well as what would make you an ideal fit.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify, develop and execute account growth strategies across pharmaceutical manufacturers, CDMOs and emerging innovators, delivering sustainable profitable growth aligned to Croda Pharma's strategic objectives;
  • Work closely with customers' procurement, formulation, development and regulatory teams to identify opportunities where Croda's excipients, delivery systems and formulation expertise can create value;
  • Generate and progress a robust opportunity pipeline through market intelligence, prospecting and close collaboration with marketing, innovation and technical teams;
  • Build relationships with customers and develop new business opportunities by participating in exhibitions and other pharma events;
  • Negotiate the best achievable commercial agreements with customers;
  • Regularly update Croda’s CRM, Call Reports, Sample & Internet Inquires, and Sales Pipeline to drive the sales process;
  • Perform all duties within the Company’s safety, health and environmental regulations.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Pharmacy, Chemistry or other);
  • Work experience in sales no less than 3 years in the relevant markets (preferably pharmaceutical formulation and excipients);
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical development and manufacturing processes;
  • Ability to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders;
  • Results-oriented, self-driven and continuous learning mindset;
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to engage confidently with prospects (Swedish and English working language);
  • Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage (not required)
  • Up to 70% travel required;
  • Territories of responsibilities: Scandinavian and Baltic countries
