Om rollen

Som R&D-chef hos Manta får du en central roll i att driva den tekniska utvecklingen framåt. Beroende på din bakgrund och expertis kan du leda något av följande områden:

  1. Mjukvara & Inbyggda system: Du ansvarar för utvecklingen av den digitala plattformen för våra autonoma undervattenssystem, inklusive realtidsstyrning, sensorintegration och planeringsverktyg. Arbetet innebär att utveckla intelligent mjukvara för fordonens autonoma funktioner och optimera systemets prestanda och automation. Du leder ett team om 15 medarbetare som består av olika tekniska experter inom mjukvara och systemutveckling.
  2. Mekanisk konstruktion & Systemutveckling: Du leder utvecklingen av uppdragsmodulerna till våra undervattensfarkoster med fokus på mekanisk design, elektronik, materialval och tillförlitlighet i extrema miljöer. Rollen omfattar både förbättring av befintliga konstruktioner samt utveckling av nästa generations produkter baserade på bland annat avancerad sensorfunktionalitet och teknik för manipulering av objekt i djuphavsmiljö. Teamet på cirka 15 personer inkluderar specialister inom mekanikkonstruktion, elektronik och testning, vilket säkerställer robusthet och kvalitet i leveranserna.

I båda rollerna ingår du i ledningsgruppen tillsammans med våra tekniska experter och kombinerar strategiskt arbete med operativt ledarskap. Du bygger och utvecklar ett högpresterande team, driver teknisk innovation och säkerställer att våra produkter möter framtidens krav. Rapportering sker till CTO och tjänsterna är placerade vid vårt utvecklingscenter i Linköping.

Vem vi söker

Vi letar efter dig med erfarenhet av att driva utveckling inom mjukvara, elektronik eller mekanik. Du har en ingenjörsutbildning och har lett tekniska team i komplexa utvecklingsmiljöer, gärna inom autonoma system, robotik eller liknande högteknologiska områden. Erfarenhet av internationella organisationer och tvärfunktionella samarbeten är en fördel.

Som person är du analytisk, strukturerad och lösningsorienterad, samtidigt som du har en prestigelös ledarstil. Du trivs i en miljö där du får ta ansvar, fatta beslut och coacha andra mot gemensamma mål. För att lyckas i rollen behöver du ha förmågan att bryta ner komplexa uppgifter och skapa en tydlig riktning för ditt team.
