As a Solution Architect in the Business Infrastructure domain at SEB, you will be part of a skilled architect team and play a crucial role in designing and evolving data management and machine learning capabilities, which are highly prioritized areas in SEB.

Your focus will be to support new initiatives and operational solutions in their evolution towards the target architecture, specifically in data management and machine learning. You will guide others in using the defined architecture in daily development and act as a trusted advisor for stakeholders in Business and Technology.

Through various business-driven initiatives, you will work on architecture during analysis, outlining, and designing solutions. You will collaborate with SEB development teams to ensure implementations align with the target architecture and principles. You will be accountable for ensuring the architecture meets client and business needs.

This area is undergoing a fast-paced cloud transformation with a rapidly growing demand to utilize new tech capabilities. The transformation is based on the strategic direction to move towards cloud and to become a fully data-driven company. The capabilities that we provide are the foundations of the new data and analytics ecosystem of the bank and the objective is to support and accelerate the strategic transformations of the company in the field of data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural work within the Data Management and Machine Learning area.
  • Mentor and guide development teams in adopting Data Management and Machine Learning standards and practices.
  • Coordinate the architecture change agenda within the Business Infrastructure domain.
  • Contribute to future architecture development, considering business needs and technology perspectives.
  • Support Data Management and Machine Learning transition initiatives with your expertise.
  • Act as an advisor to stakeholders on both business and technology sides.
  • Ensure the architecture meets business needs and act as a trusted advisor for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with domain teams and architects from other areas to elaborate architecture.
  • Drive innovation by designing Data Management and Machine Learning solutions.
  • Align Data Management and Machine Learning strategies with business goals through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of Data Management and Machine Learning services through best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Influence the future direction of Data Management and Machine Learning strategies.
To Thrive In This Role, We Believe You Have
  • Experience of architecture within the Data Management or Machine Learning area.
  • Experience of platform architecture.
  • Experience of non-functional requirements such as security, privacy, and integrity.
  • Hands-on experience working with Data Management and Machine Learning solutions.
  • Ability to model, visualize, and communicate architectural solutions across various technologies and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, bridging both business and IT.
  • Previous experience in the financial industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English.
