GoMaddox is a Stockholm-based game design agency helping brands innovate their online presence. Our services span game development, AR/VR development, and strategic product placements within popular games & platforms. Our goal is to be a leading force in developing immersive interactions and stories, focusing on real-time engagement and the latest opportunities within tech.

Our offices are located at SPACE Stockholm (Hötorget), with access to SPACE Gaming and their E-sports Arena. Remote work is fine too

Do you have 3+ years of experience working with C++? Are you excited about multiplayer games, playfulness, and innovation?

We're looking for a passionate individual who, like us, finds inspiration in storytelling through games. Your responsibilities will primarily be to code game functionality, balance game mechanics, and help our game designers to build out their vision.

Your primary tasks
  • Code and develop game mechanics on the Roblox platform
  • Collaborate with Game Designers and 3D Artists in production sprints
  • Effectively structure and execute your work based on your Project Manager's plan and brief
  • Act as a technical point of contact for your team during the concept design process
  • Support when uploading and testing delivered productions to the Roblox platform
Who you are
  • A passionate programmer who enjoys being challenged
  • A self-organizing individual who thrives when problem-solving
  • A team player with great collaboration skills
  • Great communication skills and comfortable with English (Swedish not mandatory)
  • Minimum 3 years or more experience with C++
  • Previous experience with Roblox (LUA language) or Fortnite platforms
  • An existing interest and a strong desire to learn more about the future of tech and interaction, Metaverse, and Web 3.0.
  • Previous experience with Free-to-Play monetization
