The role

As the Design Lead at Imagien, you will shape the design experience across all aspects of our products and brand. From crafting intuitive and engaging product interfaces to building a cohesive brand identity, your work will define how users experience live entertainment from home.

You will collaborate closely with the CPO, product and engineering teams, marketing, external media partners, and other stakeholders to deliver experiences that excite and inspire. This is a unique opportunity to design a groundbreaking platform, starting with its early users and scaling to a global audience.

What you’ll do

  • Own the end-to-end design vision: Lead the visual design of apps, websites, and brand identity to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee the customer journey: Design and optimize the B2C and B2B customer journey, from initial interaction to post-show engagement, ensuring a cohesive and delightful experience.
  • Shape product strategy: Collaborate with the CPO and key stakeholders to define a customer-centric product vision and roadmap, ensuring design aligns with business goals.
  • Drive brand excellence: Work closely with the Marketing team and external agencies to create best-in-class marketing and brand assets that resonate with our audience.
  • Prototype and iterate: Develop sketches, wireframes, and prototypes to validate concepts, optimize user flows, and bring design ideas to life.
  • Lead user research: Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions, and iterate based on data-driven insights.
  • Maintain visual consistency: Define and uphold a cohesive visual identity across all platforms, including promotional materials, marketing sites, and in-app experiences.
  • Innovate and inspire: Stay ahead of design trends and emerging technologies, experimenting with new ideas to create exceptional, forward-thinking experiences.
  • Mentor and grow the team: As the team expands, identify and attract top design talent, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

Who you are

  • You have a background in designing entertainment products with storytelling elements, akin to games, and experience designing for both big screens and mobile apps.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, with a focus on innovation, quality, and agility.
  • You’re detail-oriented, driven, and take ownership of your work.
  • You’re adept at handling the entire design toolbox, from research to UX/UI design, and can attract and mentor top design talent.
  • You’re a strong communicator who conveys ideas clearly and effectively, whether on paper, on screen, or in person.
  • You’re proficient in Figma and similar tools, with a thorough understanding of agile product development practices.
