Working as an OT/ICS Security ConsultantAs a OT/ICS Security Consultant, you will be an integral part of our consulting team, working closely with senior consultants and clients. You will be working on national and international assignments, so travel can be part of the role.
Your role will involve:- Consultancy: You'll engage with clients from various industries, understanding their operational needs and helping them secure their OT/ICS environments.
- Support Projects: You'll assist in performing security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and proposing solutions, involving work with industrial systems and learning how to apply security practices in real-world scenarios.
- Learning & Development: This role offers significant opportunities for learning, exposing you to various aspects of OT/ICS security, from network architecture to risk management, alongside experienced consultants who will mentor you.
- Client Interaction: You'll communicate directly with clients, helping them understand the importance of securing their OT environments and translating complex security concepts into actionable insights.
We're looking for someone with a strong interest in OT/ICS security and a desire to build a career in this field.
You should have:- Genuine Interest: A passion for cybersecurity and a keen interest in how industrial systems work, eager to learn and dive into the complexities of OT/ICS environments.
- Basic Knowledge: An understanding of industrial automation, network security, and relevant standards such as IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, with a strong desire to develop your skills.
- Proactive Mindset: A willingness to ask questions, seek out information, and contribute to the team's success.
- Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate ideas and findings, both in writing and verbally, explaining technical concepts to clients and colleagues in an understandable way.
