Om tjänsten The Project Management Lead will be responsible for driving the overall management and delivery of Civils contract package Lot 6. You will integrate fully into the BECCS Project Core Team. This leadership role involves overseeing project teams, ensuring the successful execution of BECCS Civils Work Package Lot from design through to completion, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, cost, and time management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Leadership: Lead, direct, and manage large civil engineering projects to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery. Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with client and Beccs Business objectives. Take ownership of the project's overall performance, including schedule, budget, and quality control. Lead by example and foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  2. Team and Resource Management: Manage, coordinate, and motivate your project team, including engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure that team members are properly resourced, supported, and aligned with the project's goals. Ensure resource allocation is efficient, managing people, equipment, and materials to avoid delays.
  3. Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets. Monitor and control project costs, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and mitigating financial risks. Approve and track project expenditure, ensuring timely payments and proper documentation.
  4. Scheduling and Time Management: With the Project schedulers, develop, implement, and maintain the project schedule fully resourced to Level 4 to ensure the project is fully monitored and stays on track. Track milestones, dependencies, and deadlines, proactively addressing delays or potential bottlenecks. Ensure that the project is delivered within the agreed timeframe, addressing any obstacles that could impact the schedule.
  5. Risk Management and Problem Solving: Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve issues and challenges in real-time, maintaining focus on the project's objectives. Provide innovative solutions to unforeseen problems, keeping the project on course.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact within your Lot for clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Maintain transparent, open communication regarding project status, challenges, and decisions. Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, contractors, and suppliers.
  7. Compliance and Safety: Ensure that the project complies with all legal, environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements. Implement and enforce robust safety standards and protocols through the management process. Be involved in regular safety audits and promote a culture of safety throughout the project lifecycle. Enforce and motivate the project safety KPIs.
  8. Quality Control: Develop and maintain quality assurance and control processes to ensure that deliverables meet industry standards and client expectations. Oversee inspections, audits, and reviews to monitor progress and quality.
  9. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, financial reports, progress reports, and meeting minutes. Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management and clients. Ensure proper documentation of all contractual, legal, and technical aspects of the project.
Qualifications:
  1. Must be fluent in English and proven competence in working within a multi-cultural project with English as main contract language.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  3. Minimum of 10 years of experience managing large civil engineering projects, preferably expertise from the Energy, Oil and Gas, or associated processes.
  4. Proven leadership experience in delivering complex projects within time, cost, and quality parameters.
  5. Strong knowledge of project management principles, practices, and methodologies.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
  8. Professional Certified Project Manager type PMI, IPMA preferred.
  9. Knowledge of Stockholm City and national building codes, regulations, and standards.
  10. Knowledge of Swedish permitting procedures.

  1. Project management expertise in large-scale civil works (roads, bridges, utilities, etc.)
  2. Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  3. Experience with cost control, budgeting, and financial oversight.
  4. Familiarity with contract management and procurement processes.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Ability to manage risks and mitigate potential project disruptions.
  7. Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments while maintaining a focus on results.
