As a Senior MLOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our innovation team, driving our MLOps initiatives. Your role will be to streamline the development and deployment of machine learning applications, ensuring a seamless transition from concept to production. By building and maintaining robust infrastructure and tools, you'll empower our teams to develop cutting-edge ML solutions that impact millions of users worldwide.

  • You will enhance the reliability and scalability of ML workflows, optimize infrastructure, and promote best practices in MLOps to ensure our products reach their full potential.
  • Your contributions will directly influence the speed and quality of ML application deployment, setting the foundation for future innovations.
  • You will join a cross-functional team of innovators, collaborating closely with Machine Learning Engineers, Full Stack Engineers, and Product Managers and Designers.
  • You will work with product teams, data engineers, and DevOps professionals to ensure the seamless integration of ML workflows into our product ecosystem.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and maintaining infrastructure for training and serving ML models.
  • Streamlining ML application development with CI/CD pipelines for batch and streaming predictions.
  • Managing data dependencies and ensuring robust data pipelines from the warehouse to ML platforms.
  • Championing MLOps best practices internally, mentoring the team about it and staying up to date with emerging technologies.

Soft requirements:

  • Proven experience with MLOps and SRE practices, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in GCP (or similar cloud providers) and tools like BigQuery, Dataflow, and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Expertise in pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Vertex AI Pipelines, Kubeflow Pipelines).
  • Strong programming skills in Python/Go and familiarity with ML training frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and related tools (e.g., ArgoCD, Prometheus, Istio).

Nice to have:

  • Experience with serverless inference frameworks such as kfserve or Seldon Core.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
  • Knowledge of advanced data engineering practices.
  • Experience with Generative AI (i.e., Transformers or Diffusion-based architecture) in production.
  • Familiarity with Music Information Retrieval.
