EHS Advisor

Overall Role Objective
We have an exciting opportunity for an EHS Advisor to join Suir Engineering Ltd. The position will be based on a Data Center project in Sweden.

1. Assist the EHS Manager in achieving Suir's Critical Success Factor 1: 'To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation'.
2. Work effectively with the Project Manager and Construction Team with the implementation of the Integrated Management System.
3. Ensure the site is adequately set up with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
4. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suir's High-Risk Activities (HRA's) and ensure that they are identified and effectively controlled on site.
5. Assist with the development of Risk Assessment & Method Statements.
6. Assist with the development of SOP's and provide training and communication to site personnel.
7. Become familiar with and promote the 'Suir Way' and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
8. Report and Investigate incidents when they occur and ensure root causes are identified, mitigated, and communicated.

1. Suitable Candidates must have Relevant Health and Safety Diploma / Degree and Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Environmental Health and Safety role.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Ability to prioritize workload according to deadlines together with a high attention to detail.
4. Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
5. Enjoy working as part of a high-performing team.
