Are you a software developer interested in joining a team that is passionate about creating high quality software solutions for the production phase of products? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you at our HQ in Lund, Sweden

Your future team

You will be part of a team of 6 people with senior, experienced and junior engineers working in the Spider team. The team develops high-quality, secure software used during the manufacturing process of all Axis products. The systems run Worldwide 24/7, with the central hub located in Lund where all data is collected for further distribution to other teams for analysis and visualization.

The team works closely together in an agile manner with a broad range of technical tasks, touching on many of Axis technologies. We are also collaborating with several other key teams and projects within Axis. The team is well known for their competence and their high standard for quality solutions. As teamwork is crucial for the team, it is important that you are communicative, in both Swedish and English, and can contribute to a good team spirit promoting a creative and stimulating work environment.

What you will do

As a team member, you'll actively participate in discussions and meetings, shaping not only your own work but also contributing to the team's success and your personal growth. Your responsibilities may include:

  1. Developing and maintaining the Axis Production System, Spider
  2. Collaborating on code reviews to share knowledge and best practices
  3. Conducting threat modeling and analysis to ensure secure designs and solutions
  4. Working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and global manufacturing partners
  5. Embracing an agile approach, introducing new technologies and workflows as needed

Our tech stack includes C#/.NET, SQL (MariaDB), Git (+Gerrit), Python, Linux (shell/bash), and more. We welcome diverse programming backgrounds and develop a range of applications, including desktop apps, server-side services, and web APIs.

We also love for you to have:

  1. Experience in production and manufacturing systems development is a plus.
  2. Software developer experience in C#/.NET and databases.
  3. A master's degree in engineering or equivalent is preferred.
