We are launching new products in solid tumors and are looking for a new medical advisor to join our team

The candidate will represent the affiliate's medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned product(s) in solid tumors with a local and Scandinavian scope.

Main responsibilities:

1. Establish and maintain professional relationships with experts and academic centers; attend scientific congresses, arrange advisory groups, discussion forums and symposia.
2. Deliver scientific presentations and medical education to health professionals.
3. Prepare scientific/medical information on request.
4. Assist in initiating, supervising and following up evidence generation and medical projects.
5. Review and approval of advertising material. Ensure that medical/scientific content is correct and in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines.
6. Be a medical expert in the cross-functional teams, and provide medical/scientific input to medical affairs strategies, marketing strategy and commercial initiatives.

Ideal candidate:

1. MD, PhD, PharmD or other advanced health degrees
2. Minimum of 2-4 years of oncology experience in the clinic, pharmaceutical industry, or equivalent. Experience within solid tumors is preferred.
3. Keen interest in developing and maintaining expert knowledge for assigned therapeutic area/product and in medical research in general.
4. Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
5. Fluency in oral and written Swedish language.
6. Fluency in written and oral English is highly desirable in order to facilitate communications between the affiliate medical department, Regional and International Medical Affairs and other AbbVie functional staff.
7. High customer orientation and a willingness to travel.
8. Strong commitment to compliance with the relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity.
9. Collaborative, team-oriented approach, able to develop and support relationships across the organization as well as with key external stakeholders and the healthcare community at large.
10. Sound judgment, strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to get things done.
11. Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity.
