Role & Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in thermal design for electronics cooling.
  • Develop innovative thermal solutions addressing future ICT product challenges.
  • Lead and contribute to internal research initiatives.
  • Manage and support external research collaborations with top European academic institutions.
  • Identify key technologies to solve future thermal challenges within the company's ICT product portfolio.
  • Strong academic research experience in thermal design for electronics cooling.
  • In-depth knowledge of heat and mass transfer, including natural convection, forced convection, and two-phase phenomena.
  • Established network within academia and/or the thermal industry research community.
  • Proven experience in research activities related to thermal design (not just product design).
  • General understanding of industrial research in electronics cooling.
  • Familiarity with CFD tools such as Ice Pack, Fluent, COMSOL, and Flotherm.
Qualifications:
  • PhD in Heat and Mass Transfer, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Postdoctoral or equivalent research experience.
  • Ability to assess and compare various thermal solutions from both cost and functional perspectives.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
