What you would do as our Mobile Android Developer

You would develop applications for configuration and operations of our wireless locks and systems. You would join a cross-functional agile software team with mobile and cloud developers, QAs, and a UX designer. You would work closely with our firmware team regarding communication with the devices. On top of this, you would cooperate with product management on the app requirements.

You would also:

  1. Contribute to planning activities by analyzing requirements, making specifications, and breaking down implementation work (epics and stories).
  2. Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues.
  3. Take part in end-user testing activities.
  4. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies.

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Android app development in Kotlin.
  2. Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with cloud services.
  3. Experience with git, continuous integration, and delivery practices.
  4. Strong command of written and spoken English.
  5. Technical education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar. Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

Ideally, you have experience working with several of the following - development of mobile applications for connected IoT devices, BLE communication, Jetpack Compose, APIs for offline storage, threading and performance tuning, security technologies such as TLS, Keychain, MFA, OAuth, and PKI, iOS development, cross-platform languages such as React Native (Expo), Kotlin multi-platform, or Flutter, SAFe agile methodology. In addition, you are a result-oriented problem solver by heart that sees solutions instead of problems. You share our belief in lean and agile values, cross-functional teams, where many competences are working together for successful projects.
