Are you passionate about ensuring accuracy, compliance, and driving financial performance? As our Financial Controller, you will support the implementation of our new store concept while strengthening customer relationships. This role allows you to work closely with both customers and stores, contribute to strategic initiatives, and ensure financial excellence across the organization.

As a Finance Controller, you will oversee key financial areas, including revenue flows, customer balances, and settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will play a pivotal role in one of our business areas, which involves the operation of physical stores. Collaborating closely with customers and store teams, you will provide financial expertise, support decision-making, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

In this role, you will also take a leading part in implementing a new branch, ensuring that all financial processes align with laws, regulations, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial performance: Evaluate results, revenues, and transactions to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance: Oversee financial processes to ensure regulatory compliance, especially within the new store concept.
  • Support operations: Collaborate with store managers to align financial processes with operational goals, ensuring seamless transaction handling.
  • Handle customer follow-ups: Manage customer balances and settlements to ensure agreements are accurately maintained.
  • Improve financial processes: Identify and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy in workflows.
  • Contribute to reporting and billing: Support monthly closings, group reporting, and invoicing processes.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrates a strong ability to analyze financial results and identify variances.
  • Experience working with store managers and teams to ensure accurate transactions and invoicing.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Fluent in both English and Swedish, in written and spoken communication.
