Your role and responsibilities

Join ABB Energy Industries as a Cyber Security Lead, where you will play a key role in securing industrial automation systems for essential industries like renewable energy, water, pharma, and chemical production. Your expertise will help drive secure, innovative, and sustainable solutions that make a real difference in society.
As part of our Digital Team, you will collaborate with talented colleagues from diverse backgrounds, contributing to cutting-edge OT/IT security solutions that protect some of the world's most vital industries. Whether you have a formal degree in Computer Science, IT, or Cybersecurity—or have gained expertise through hands-on experience—your skills and ideas are what truly matter.
Your responsibilities in the role:
- Implementing secure solutions in OT/IT systems, performing cybersecurity assessments and providing remedies for identified security gaps.
- Implementing robust system & network architecture.
- Performing cybersecurity fingerprint for OT/IT network infrastructure.
- Implementing disaster recovery methods for OT/IT systems & performing high-level and detailed risk assessments.
- Delivering security update services, cybersecurity fingerprint as a part of service agreements.
- Providing services like hardening of IT/OT systems, role-based access, and security controls so customers can comply with cybersecurity standards (e.g., IEC62443, NIS1 & 2 directive & Cybersäkerhetslagen).
- Bachelor's or master's in computer science or information technology. Working experience in Cyber Security Solutions, Services & IT-Architecture/Infrastructure is essential.
- Experience and knowledge in performing risk assessments and implementing cybersecurity solutions for control systems and/or SCADA is advantageous.
- Knowledge in maintaining & troubleshooting network failures, configuring firewalls & monitoring network traffic is beneficial.
- Knowledge in network intrusion detection (NID) and/or security information & event management (SIEM) is positive.
- Qualification in any of the certifications is considered advantageous (e.g., MCSA, GISP, ISA/IEC 62443).
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both oral and written skills, is a prerequisite.
