We are looking for a SW architect within Automotive to be part of our journey when we expand our businesses.

What you'll do

Join CabinAir and revolutionize clean air in cars As part of our dynamic Global R&D team located in Stockholm and in Shenzhen, China, you'll harness your expertise in SW architect engineering area. You will collaborate and guide both our design partners and manage our automotive OEM customers.

You and your colleagues will build and establish a roadmap, making sure we move in the right direction. You'll delve into the nitty-gritty while keeping an eye on the grand vision, guiding everyone towards success. Get ready to make breathing clean air in your car as natural as wearing a seat belt

Overall responsibilities:

  • Be the key contact person for SW architectural topics to Global OEM automotive customers and SW development partners.
  • Perform customer stakeholder requirements analysis and translate into detailed software requirements.
  • Lead technical decisions as a hands-on SW developer ensuring seamless communication with our development partners and customers.
  • Develop new and existing SW embedded platforms used in ECU for many OEM automotive customers.
  • Create and communicate software architecture roadmap to Global OEM automotive customers and SW development partners.
  • Work closely with global software and hardware engineering partners to ensure efficient architecture.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proffer solutions effective in meeting set targets and satisfying stakeholder requirements.

  • Solution and team-oriented.
  • Senior experience of SW architectural work in embedded SW in complex, multi-site and cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent and proven people leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of different SW architectural tools and methods.
  • Min 8 years of experience in SW architectural work. Automotive industry with embedded SW is preferred.
  • Fluent in both written and oral English.
  • Background in SW embedded Development in a technology company.

Our technology is already on the road in Volvo Cars, some of the world's most highly regarded vehicles in terms of driver and passenger health and safety, as an integral part of Volvo Cars' Advanced Air Cleaner (AAC) system. Recently Polestar announced AAC for Polestar 3 and we recently signed other contracts with premium vehicle manufacturers from Europe, U.S and China. In parallel, we are launching our technology for cars already on the road.
