We are now seeking a Software and System Integration Engineer, specialized in IFS Cloud to Polygon´s Business Application Team, the backbone of Polygon's digital transformation.

Desired location is Stockholm, but there is possible to be in other cities in Sweden.

The role:

As a Software & System Integration Engineer you will play a key role in designing and implementing effective, seamless software and system integration solutions to support our transition from IFS Applications 10 to IFS Cloud. Utilizing Boomi as the integration platform and Nodinite for monitoring, you will deliver robust system integrations that meet business needs.
You will collaborate closely with Polygon stakeholders, as well as vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software adaptations and integration solutions tailored to Polygon´s business requirements.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Act as a technical point of contact for integration projects.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather software and system integration requirements.
  3. Design, develop, document and implement software and system integrations based on business requirements.
  4. Modify and adapt existing software to work with third-party systems or platforms.
  5. Analyze and resolve integration issues, ensuring compatibility and seamless operation between systems.
  6. Monitor the performance of integrations and ensure reliability.
  7. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for system related issues.
  8. Stay updated on integration tools, platforms, and best practices.
  9. Propose and implement enhancements to improve integration processes and system performance.

Your profile:

We are looking for you, who have:

Previous experience and good knowledge about IFS Cloud and IFS Cloud Customs Objects; integration, development, report development and Lobby Development.

You also have a deep understanding of agile methodologies, processes, tools, and technology standards, with the ability to select and apply the most relevant aspects for projects and initiatives, as well as proficiency in documenting requirements, design, and architecture, and selecting appropriate methods for various contexts.

You have experience serving as a bridge between business and IT and like to communicate with different stakeholders. Excellent English skills, both verbal and written, is a must.

As a person, you are analytical with an eye for details, like to collaborate with others, and are a team player.

Desirable qualifications are certifications as IFS Cloud Developer and IFS Cloud Integration Developer, Certified Boomi Developer with experience in developing integrations using Boomi, and technical knowledge of IFS Application 10.
