About the Team
We are a close-knit team of five developers with diverse competencies, working collaboratively in an environment where trust, support, and enjoyment are key. Each morning, we start with a stand-up meeting to align our goals, support each other, and stay informed on all ongoing tasks. Our open workspace fosters seamless communication, and every team member takes full ownership of their development tasks, from initial requirements to deployment of high-quality, customer-ready solutions.

Our Products
At the heart of our innovation is the W-Sensor, an advanced device utilizing a camera and AI to capture and process images, converting them into meaningful data. The sensor connects via LTE-M or WiFi, transmitting data securely to our cloud-based backend, where it becomes accessible to customers. Our ecosystem extends beyond the sensor to include a comprehensive infrastructure featuring a training pipeline, AWS IoT Core-based device management, cloud databases, a web frontend, and robust cloud APIs for seamless device management and data access. Every aspect of our technology stack is developed in-house, ensuring full control over innovation and quality.

What You Will Do
The ESP32-based W-Sensor is at the heart of our technology, and as an Embedded Developer, you will play a key role in shaping its firmware. More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and optimize firmware using C/C++ and the Espressif toolchain.
  • Ensure reliable connectivity over LTE-M and WiFi in diverse environments worldwide.
  • Optimize on-device AI processing for image analysis while maintaining a 10-year battery lifespan.
  • Drive new feature development, as our sensor is still evolving with many functionalities yet to be built.
  • Maintain and enhance existing code, ensuring robustness and reliability.
  • Support customers and collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to create a seamless user experience.

Key Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Engineering Physics, or a related field. Equivalent industry experience is also considered.
  • 5+ years of development experience, primarily in embedded C/C++.
  • Hands-on experience with LTE-M and/or WiFi in embedded systems.
