As an Electronic Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing advanced AAC devices, helping individuals with communication-related disabilities connect with the world. You'll apply your electronic design expertise to bring new products from concept to production while supporting and improving existing ones. This is a chance to combine technical excellence with purpose-driven work.

In this role, you will:

  1. Write and review electronic requirements to ensure performance, cost, and schedule feasibility.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design approaches and create error-free CAD models and 2D drawings.
  3. Select and integrate electronic components, ensuring manufacturability and functionality across prototypes, testing, and production.
  4. Develop and oversee electrical test plans, protocols, and reports to meet quality standards.
  5. Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to enhance system performance.
  6. Support global production efforts by interfacing with external manufacturers and collaborating with teams across the U.S. and China.
What We're Looking For:

We're looking for a detail-oriented engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a collaborative mindset. You're someone who thrives in cross-disciplinary teams, communicates effectively, and is motivated to tackle technical challenges while mentoring team members. You take ownership of your work and balance independent problem-solving with team-based collaboration.

We'd like for you to have:

  1. Significant experience working with electrical engineering.
  2. Proficiency in designing complex electronic systems and subassemblies using Altium or similar tools.
  3. Experience with microcontrollers, PCB development, and communication protocols (USB, I2C, SPI).
  4. Strong knowledge of testing tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
  5. Familiarity with highly regulated environments (e.g., FDA, ISO13485) and agency certifications (UL, CE).
