Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Product Engineer for an exciting consulting assignment with our client. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and ensuring the high quality of standard products. You will work closely with production, procurement, and cross-functional teams to enhance product efficiency and support customer inquiries.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical design professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and innovative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure product optimization and continuous improvement to maintain high quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and other departments to ensure seamless processes.
- Utilize CAD software (preferably SolidEdge) to create, update, and manage product drawings and data.
- Monitor and improve developed products, ensuring they meet technical and performance standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide technical support, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Manage product documentation and specifications, ensuring they are up to date and accurate.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Product Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in CAD software (preferably SolidEdge) for design and documentation.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for product improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
