About us:

Stegra is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what's next in store for us.

Data Analyst – Operational Excellence

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing business-critical insights for the construction of our cutting-edge steel factory. Working with modern data technologies, you will transform complex datasets into actionable intelligence that drives our operations forward. Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
  • Collecting, transforming, and structuring data from multiple sources into data products using Snowflake (DBT).
  • Collaborating with business architects to ensure data models accurately reflect business needs.
  • Partnering with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and align data solutions with business goals.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reports and analytics solutions.
  • Creating and managing applications for manual data handling in Airtable.

Qualifications:

  • A University degree, Bachelor or Master's in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Strong expertise in data engineering and analytics, with a focus on BI reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS S3, Snowflake, DBT, and Power BI (or similar tools).
  • Experience in data modeling to ensure scalable and well-structured datasets.
  • Knowledge of data mesh principles is a plus.
  • Experience with Kotlin or Java (we use Kotlin microservices for data ingestion) is a plus.
