About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have a key role in developing and designing data-driven services and solutions for our Lakehouse Analytics platform. Besides technical tasks, you will also actively operate in the customer interface: creating and analyzing requirements, designing concepts, and sharing your knowledge with our customers. In addition, you will actively collaborate with our technology partners and their globally leading data and AI products.

You will be working in diverse teams consisting of top-level developers and customer experts. Your tasks and assignments will be jointly tailored according to your background and interests.

To succeed in this role we would like you to have

  • Professional software development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with data-driven solutions.
  • Software development skills in Python and SQL (or other programming languages).
  • Knowledge of big data-related technologies like Databricks, Azure Synapse, or Apache Spark.
  • Experience with cloud solutions – preferably Azure.
  • Passion for continuously learning new things and aiming higher.
  • Passion for building great products and solving complex customer problems.
  • Confidence to take responsibility, honesty, and openness as a member of a team.

Language Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Fluency in Swedish is mandatory.

The following additional experience is valued:

  • Experience with social and healthcare data.
  • Data warehouse, data lakes, or lakehouse experience.
  • Dimensional data modeling, star schemas, and data marts.
  • Development of Power BI.
