ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

As a solution-oriented Information Architect at Enento, you will be an integral part of the group architecture team, working across the Nordics and various business areas ensuring that our solutions delivered to customers are supported by our Nordic information model.

Our current team comprises senior architects with expertise in Enterprise, Business, and Solution Architecture. We are now seeking to expand our team with an Information Architect who will support our business and development teams, ensuring a fit-for-purpose information architecture.

A key expectation for this role is to drive the development of a unified information architecture while modernizing and simplifying our data, data warehouses, and API implementations. You will define, develop, and deliver efficient information models and data flows that support IT and business teams in developing and maintaining products and services.

You can work from one of our offices in Helsinki or Stockholm.
You report directly to the Head of Development and Architecture in IT.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of Enento's Nordic information and data architecture.
  • Define logical data models to facilitate effective communication between stakeholders.
  • Identify, communicate, and enhance processes for our data pipeline.
  • Collaborate with other architects to create and develop guidelines, patterns, and non-functional requirements that define and support the target state.
  • Participate in architectural governance to ensure product teams align with architectural decisions while defining their autonomy and freedom to implement solutions.
Required Skills:

A passion for data and solution architecture is essential, as well as an open, ambitious, and humble attitude towards your colleagues.

  • A holistic view with the ability to consider multiple perspectives to ensure optimal solutions.
  • Expertise in solution architecture.
  • Proficiency in information modelling and efficient implementation and usage of models.
  • Understanding of various data types (operational, analytical, historical, metadata, master data, etc.).
  • Knowledge of data pipelines, data flows, ETL/ELT processes, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud solutions.
  • Understanding of data sensitivity, data security methods, and legal considerations.
  • Meritorious, but not mandatory, experience with AI and its applications.
  • Experience in technical leadership to coach development teams.
  • Experience with agile working methods.
Relevant Background & Experience

We believe you have several years of experience working with and defining information models. Several years as a Solution Architect with a strong understanding of architectural patterns and frameworks is also required. Additionally, the ability to understand and communicate the value of data is crucial for this role. The following experiences are beneficial but not mandatory:

  • Experience in software development.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • A relevant education in computer sciences or equivalent.

Employment type: Full-time position with a six-month probation period.
